Frequently Asked Questions
The Card Campaign is all about educating voters, inspired by the colorful Rainbow Flyers women handed out during FDR’s re-election. Back in 1936, these flyers, created by the Women’s Division of the Democratic National Committee, were printed on brightly colored paper and shared facts about the important achievements of the New Deal in areas such as labor, farming, and Social Security. They made up about 80% of the Democratic campaign materials, helping to inform and engage voters.
Inspired by those colorful rainbow flyers, these cards are friendly, straightforward tools designed to share important information about issues that matter to all of us, no matter where we come from. They’re made to be printed on both sides and can be handed out personally or left in public places for others to find and learn from.
Most of the Card Campaign cards are not postcards and aren’t meant to be mailed. Occasionally, we send postcards to Congress, and they do get mailed, as evidenced by the address side compared to the statement side.
We’re excited to share new cards with you, usually one or two every few weeks! The PDFs are available for free on this website, so you can print them at home or at your favorite print shop. Or, if you prefer, just click the button to order printed cards that will be shipped right to you through our trusted printing partner, Howling Print and Promo.
Our campaign is driven by a dedicated, six-person volunteer team from all over the country, from northern New England to the West Coast. We’re independent and not connected to any political campaign, PAC, or other organization.
