Card 41: We Have Enough

Our Great Nation Has Enough for Everyone

In this great country of ours, we have enough for everyone who lives here to enjoy a good life, to live in comfort and safety, and to live happily and with dignity.

We have enough to:

  • Build an economy that allows everyone to prosper with jobs that pay a living wage.
  • Provide quality universal healthcare, covering everything, with money left over.
  • Feed the hungry.
  • Fund research into lifesaving drugs, medical advances, and groundbreaking scientific innovations.
  • Provide free child care for those who need it.
  • Provide quality public education, including college.
  • Support and encourage small farmers and ranchers, breaking up agricultural monopolies and land grabs.
  • Build affordable housing for renters, first-time buyers, and people experiencing homelessness.
  • Support the artists, musicians, writers, and others who enrich our lives.
  • Allow people to retire and live out their lives comfortably and with dignity.

We live in a land of plenty, rich in opportunity and resources, enough so everyone can have their fair share and believe in a better future. Together, we can ensure everyone benefits by working toward fairness and shared prosperity.

Fair Taxation:

  • Rewrite tax law so every person and corporation pays their fair share with no loopholes or write-offs.
  • Raise the income cap for Social Security contributions.

Business Regulation:

  • Enforce regulations that protect workers.
  • Enforce laws that protect the environment. No exceptions for polluters.
  • Return fairness to our economy. No more monopolies.
  • No more manipulation of housing availability; no more corporations buying up homes.

We have enough for everyone in this country to share in its riches. Your participation makes that future possible. Your vote is a powerful tool to bring about meaningful change, turn hope into action, and create the future we believe in by choosing leaders who will work with us to make it a reality.

NOVEMBER 3RD IS ELECTION DAY
VOTE as though your life depends on it—it does!
