Card 3: The Musk Takeover

Did We Cast Our Votes For Elon Musk?

The United States is currently experiencing a hostile takeover, akin to a coup, by Elon Musk, the world’s richest man. Despite not being on the ballot or eligible for the presidency, he appears to be in control. We did not elect him, and he has no authority over us.

Why This Matters To You

On January 31, 2025, a significant breach occurred when Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent allowed Elon Musk’s associates access to secure Treasury Department computers. These systems hold sensitive information about taxpayers and recipients of Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. This access raises serious concerns about identity theft and the privacy of hundreds of millions. The information accessed includes the following:

  • Your name and address
  • Your Social Security number or Taxpayer ID Number
  • Your bank account numbers for direct deposit
  • All tax refunds that have been paid to you
  • Your Medicare or Medicaid number and Medicare plan coverage
  • Claims made against your Medicare coverage
  • Where you work
  • Your lifetime earnings reported for Social Security benefits
  • Your health insurance plan and any supplemental health insurance
  • Your status as a citizen

Your personal data is now in the hands of people you did not authorize!

Call your Senators and Representatives at (202) 224-3121 to object to Musk’s having access to your private information. Call your local newspapers and urge them to cover this constitutional crisis.

How Does Musk Plan To Use Our Data?

No one knows how our personal information will be used; we know only that it has been stolen. Although Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is not a real agency, Musk’s associates gained access to computers containing data on all federal employees, as well as computers at the Department of Education and the Small Business Administration, and those under the control of the State Department, thereby compromising national security

Elon Musk posted on social media that he is “reviewing” the data and canceling what he considers “wasteful.”

  • Will Social Security and Medicaid payments be cut or delayed?
  • Will SBA or student loans be rescinded?
  • Will research grants for cancer or other diseases be stopped?
  • Will our private information be sold to our enemies?

Musk’s actions are totally against the law. He must be stopped.

What Can We Do To Stop This Takeover?

  • Call our elected officials to object to having our information stolen and kept by people we never elected. Be polite.
  • Talk to everyone you know, including Republican voters, about how this takeover affects us all, and urge them to make calls, too.

Call your Senators and Representatives today at (202) 224-3121 to object to Musk’s access to your private information.
